Garmin has been my ultimate favorite brand for sport watches, ever since I was a runner and that has been a very long time ago. I had owned the forerunner 230 for 2-3 years and latter on I did upgrade to the Fenix 3. The Fenix 3 was the best!, however it was super huge on my tiny wrist and unfortunately I had to return it 🙁 .
So, basically I was a huge fan of there Forerunner and Fenix series!
So the sizing can be very confusing if your new to “Garmin Fenix Watches” because they have so many. Here is the break down!
S = smalles sized bezel at 42mm
meaning if you have a small wrist like me, then this is for you!!
The one I have is the white with sea foam band and it is the Fenix 5S Plus.

This watch can do so many things that I still have not fully discovered its full potential. However, one of the things that I have enjoyed is its TOPO maps! The watch will display popular routes that you can do from your location. Another great thing is its Battery performance, the watch could last you up to 7 days depending on how active you are. Personally it last me up to 5 days and that is still awesome!
The Safety feature is also something that makes me feel safer on my runs, hikes or whatever adventure I am going for. If you happen to get into an emergency, your watch will detect it and contact your emergency person automatically.
Connect IQ and Garmin Connect Apps. These are two apps where you can download free face watches and widgets for extra information. I love both apps and I like that the app lets you connect with other folks that also have Garmin watches. You are able to follow, share your workouts and even create fun challenges! Its like having your own personal coach & at the same time an online fitness community. You can reach out to your followers, connect with them and chat.
