Are you ready to start blogging? Fantastic!, because today we are going to go step-by-step in how to start a successful blog. Starting a successful blog is an investment, meaning it does require time, planning, and money. Before I go over the steps, I will be going over some important details that you need before even starting a blog.
You need to figure out your niche. What is a niche?, its basically a specific topic you would like to talk about in your blog. Make sure you pick something that you are passionate about, because imagine writing about something that you have no interest in? That would be brutal! Below are a few ideas that you can look into, explore and basically get some inspiration 🙂
Being well prepared before hands can save you a whole lot of trouble at the end! Trust me, these few things are very important to have written down. You basically need to have all of this information listed down below!
Find A Niche
Find the perfect name for your blog
Have 4-7 post ready
Make sure to have all of your social media links
List of pages, your quick bio/about section and contact info.
Have your Budget ready
* please have all of your pictures ready as well!!! 🙂
You need to spend some money and go with a self-hosted site. Having a self-hosted site will give you more control of your site and you basically have the freedom to do anything you want with your blog! For example, you can display ads, sell your own products, add affiliate marketing or sponsored content and so much more. So you need a hosting provider + domain name, I have listed down below some that I would personally recommend.
This is my favorite step, it’s making your blog pretty! You can finally start designing your blog. If you think that you may need a web designer? or web developer? You are absolutely wrong! There are so many pre-made themes that you can buy and have it install within a day.
Alright guys! We made it our final step and this one is pretty much forward. All there is left to do is go alive and enjoy your Blogging Journey :). Do not forget to be creative, consistent with your post and most importantly is to have fun!
