Hello Ladies! I wanted to share a quick update before I get into this post :). As some of you may already know, when signing up for my newsletter you do receive a free Barre workout & Fitness planner! These will both be out on May 5th 2020! So for those who have already subscribed, you will receive these on Tuesday :). Here is a small preview down below.
Okay, so the fact that I am spending more time at home ~ I decided to buy a portable barre! Since I am not able to attend the studio, I decided to make my own little studio at home. This has been a fun project that I have been working on this week & can’t wait to show you all the outcome!
Let’s talk about options! When buying equipment it can be very expensive, therefore my goal was in finding items that where within my budget. I also made a list of the workouts that I planned on doing, wrote down the space I have in my room and other details that where helpful into making the correct decision.
Portable Barre Options I found.
Here are my top 3 that I came across, links are also listed down below in aqua color :
I actually found this item on amazon for half the price! So it became within my budget 🙂
You can do more then one workout with this item, so that’s a heck yes!
Comes with mat and two bands
You can buy more accessories for it and make it even more versatile
Even though I did go with this barre, I wasn’t really loving the color of it! So I went to target, picked up 2 cans of white spray paint and got to work. Overall I am happy with the results, therefore I went ahead and purchased the barbell clips! I can basically turn my portable barre into a squatting rack too 😛
Pro’s & Con’s
Overall I am very happy with this purchase. So does it have any con’s? Yes. Do I recommend this Barre? Yes. Here is why!
I got a really good deal, so def. shop through amazon first
It comes with accessories such as : mat and two bands
The Barre can move up and down
It is not as sturdy as I though it would be, if you where to drill this to your floor ( it would be amazing!).
Since I did paint this white, the bar is hard to move up and down. But this was because of the spry paint.
The Barre is soft and that is good, but if you put any resistance bands on it and pull (you will notice that the foam on the barre will leave a mark on it).
To be completely honest, the con’s are not too bad. All of these con’s can be easily fixed and its not something that is completely awful. As in for the foam, that can be replaced and it is stable comparing it to other portable barres on the market. Okay ladies! hope you really enjoyed this review 😉 see you next time!
